What I think about when I think about running

Running is a magical and humbling sport. It gives you time to think, and trust me, I think about everrrryyyyything while I’m out there. What’s for tea? How’s next week shaping up? How long until I can stop running? Oh, those are nice trainers… you get the picture.

What do I think about?

My thoughts sometimes drift to previous races - hundreds or thousands of runners gathered together, all united by the same goal - to run as one. It’s always inspiring to see people take on an endurance event. It’s flipping hard work! Yet, time and time again, people keep coming back for more (ahem… guilty as charged). There’s something undeniably addictive about the challenge, the camaraderie, and the sheer joy of pushing yourself beyond your limits.

Running lessons

Running teaches you resilience, patience, and the beauty of shared experiences. Whether it’s pounding the pavement solo or joining thousands of others on race day, it’s a reminder that we’re capable of so much more than we think.

My question for you

What do you like to think about when you’re taking part in an endurance-based event? Or any event for that matter?!
